--- The new judge for Cameron County, Republican Carlos Cascos, joins Ron on the set to discuss the recent trip to the Rio Grande Valley by members of the Texas State Legislature, which was organized by the Rio Grande Valley Partnership. A few of the legislators comment on their trip to the valley, including Rep. David Swinford and Sen. Dan Patrick. Judge Cascos also remarks on immigration and border security, highlighted by Governor Perry’s announcement of “Operation Wrangler,” which will unite federal and state officers and assets to work together to combat crimes.
